First time out using Blogger.    Hope we are able to continue on with this project.  I so admire the blogs that I read regularly with consistent posts.  So..........here is the first "Sancho and Max" try.

Max and I just completed driving from our winter hang-out in Boca de Tomatlan, Jalisco, MX back to Juneau, Alaska for the summer.  We drove to the US/Mexico border, traversed the US to Canada then on through British Columbia and the Yukon Territory to Skagway, Alaska.  Close to 6000 miles of driving, camping and exploring.  Wow.......what "eye candy" along the way!

Took 2 days to reach "Mile One"
Max my Mexican street dog adoptee (and wanabe sled-dog) and I will be exploring Southeast Alaska waters in our 30 year old Chris-Craft motor vessel (RV on the Water) for the next several months home basing out of Juneau.

Skagway, Alaska  the Marine Highway and route south to Juneau

Max is wanting to see more bears and wildlife as we explore.  We saw a bit traveling north through the US and Canada to Skagway, AK and then south to Juneau on the Alaska Marine Highway ferry Columbia.

As soon as MV Conquest is de-winterized and recommissioned we will be off on our first cruise.

    1. Thanks Marilyn for your encouragement. I camped one night on my way north at the lake just outside of Burns pretty close to where you are now. Cold! Sleet and snow. On early the next morning through Bend and down to Salem to see daughter and grandson there. Love your photos. Ron

  2. Hi "Sancho" Ron:
Just visited your blog for the first time and would like to start following your adventures. As you probably know, I'm a neophyte blogger too; we can muddle through together!
I'm looking forward to reading lots about Alaska; I've visited a few times - 2 cruises and a couple of flights; but I now know nothing can compare to experiencing new places by RV - or RV boat!
    Happy trails .... mary-pat
